Hailey Holbdy
"Hello everyone! My name is Hailey Holbdy, a current D1 golfer in NYC at Long Island University! Originally from Gibraltar and a past student at Carlson High School, I followed my golf dreams to Orlando, Florida, where I trained for 3 years under Golfzon Leadbetter! I’ve developed a passion for sharing what I’ve learned and teaching others how to get better at the sport that’s given me so much! Being back in my hometown has reminded me of how I originally fell in love with golf, so this summer I’d like to give a piece of that back to my fellow golfers! I’ll be teaching lessons out of Downriver Golf Factory, with all the same facilities that have gotten me to where I am today!"
Rick Holbdy
Rick has been playing golf for over 25 years and coaching for the last 8. A certified Golf Instructor since 2017, he brings both experience and energy to every lesson. He’s spent 4 years Assistant Coaching the Carlson High School Women’s Golf Team and now leads as the owner of Downriver Golf Factory. Rick’s not just a golf coach—he’s a motivator, competitor, and even an Ironman finisher. Whether you're new to the game or chasing a personal best, Rick brings the same drive and dedication that’s shaped his own journey.
Eric Strong
Coach Eric got his start in golf instruction under Rick Holbdy's coaching and quickly found his passion for the game and its discipline. With a background in physical fitness and a love for hard work, Coach Eric brings high energy, BIG personality, and serious dedication to every lesson. He's also the creative force behind much of DGF's media, helping bring our mission to life both on and off the course. If you're looking for a coach who will keep things fun while pushing you to improve your game, Coach Eric's your guy!
